اندیشۂ مال و جاہ دنیا غلط است
ایں وہم و خیال و فکر بیجا غلط است
در خانۂ تن وطن نہ باشد ہرگز
از بہر دو روز ایں تمنا غلط است
اندیشۂ مال و فکرِ دنیا ہے غلط
یہ شوق غلط، یہ فکرِ بے جا ہے غلط
یہ روح بدن میں نہ رہے گی دائم
دو روز کی خاطر یہ تمنّا ہے غلط
