ایمان کی سچائی خدا کو بڑا سمجھنے میں ہے اور خدا کی بڑائی کے احساس سے خدا سے شرم پیدا ہوتی ہے، اس شرم سے باطن اور ظاہر کی تعظم پیدا ہوتی ہے، اس کے بعد سالک کا شاہد خدا ہو جاتا ہے اور وہ اس کو مختلف صورتوں میں مشاہدہ کرتا ہے، جن کے اثرات بھی مختلف ہوتے ہیں مثلا وہ خدا کے غنا کے کمال کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے تو اس کے دل سے ساری طمع جاتی رہتی ہے اور خدا کی قدرت کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے تو پھر اس کے سوا کسی اور سے اس کو انس پیدا نہیں ہوتا، وہ خدا کے فضل کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے تو وہ اپنے افعال اور احوال سے بے نیاز ہوتا ہے وہ خدا کے کرم کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے تو اس کو خدا سے ایسا انبساط حاصل ہوتا ہے کہ کون و مکاں اسی کے حاجت مند ہو جاتے ہیں، خدا کے قہر کا مشاہدہ کرتا ہے تو اس پر خدا کا خوف ایسا طاری رہتا ہے کہ اس کو کبھی آرام نہیں ملتا۔

سماع کے وقت جہاں تک ممکن ہو آبدیدہ نہ ہو اور جسم کو حرکت نہ دے، یہاں تک کہ مغلوب ہو جائے اور اپنی حفاظت آپ نہ کر سکے لیکن سماع میں احوال کے ظاہر ہونے سے بڑی آفتیں ہیں، ان کو چھپانا بہت اہم باتوں میں سے ہے۔

Spiritual Guide should be perfect, well versed in the vicissitude of the mystic path, and firmly established in his high state. He should be a,man who has experienced both the horror of God’s Majesty and the delight of His beauty.

The Lord of Universe (PBUH) despite having attained highest exalted rank and degree, besought the Lord of Glory saying: “O God. grant us poverty in both life and death, and on the Day of Resurrection, raise us up in the condition of the poor.”
