जिस का ख़ून बहा दिया जाए और सारी दौलत भी ले ली जाए और बुरा न माने, वह सूफ़ी है।

तसव्वुफ़ ये है कि थोड़ा खाया जाए और ज़्यादा इबादत की जाए। इस के साथ ही लोगों से किनारा कर लिया जाए।
