daryab ki az ruh juda KHwahi raft
daryāb ki az ruuh judā ḳhvāhī raft
dar parda-e-asrār-e-ḳhudā ḳhvāhī raft
mai ḳhur ki na daanī za kujā āmada-ī
ḳhush zī chuuñ na-dānī ki kujā ḳhvāhī raft
Mind thou that thy soul and thy body shall stand disunited and to behind the veil thy secrets to thy Creator shall go, but whilst thou dost live, drink (and be happy) for thou knowest not from whence thou hast come and where thou hast to go.

mai KHur ki na dani za kuja aamada-i
KHush zi chun na-dani ki kuja KHwahi raft
