در مال جہاں مآل ہرگز نبود
در مال جہاں مآل ہرگز نبود
ایں خواب و خیال مال ہرگز نبود
از وہم و خیال خام خوش دل نہ شوی
بیش از الم و وبال ہرگز نبود
دنیا کی یہ دولت ہے سراسر فانی
یہ ایک سراب ہے نہیں ہے پانی
اس وہم و خیال کا نہیں کچھ حاصل
یہ وہم کی دنیا تو ہے غم کی بانی
