ज़मीं थी पेशतर तुझ से न पहले आसमाँ पैदा

गए मस्जिद भी तो याद-ए-ख़राबात-ए-जहाँ लेकर

हज़ारों बार अज़ल से क़िबला-ए-अहल-ए-जहाँ बदला

इधर करता है वाइ'ज़ ज़िक्र ग़ौग़ा-ए-क़ियामत का

بجام من اگر آید شرابِ ارغواں دیگر
