वही बुत बन के बैठा है किसी का राज़-दाँ हो कर

गर ख़ुदा का'बा में रहता है तो बुत-ख़ाने में कौन

न पाया कुछ पता उस का ख़ुदा जाने कहाँ है वो

जब से दिल शैदा हुआ है उस बुत-ए-बे-पीर का

कृष्ण को चाहता हूँ ’आशिक़-ए-सुब्हाँ हूँ मैं

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
