از طپش تابے نیارم بے قرار کیستم
دل تپد در سینۂ من اضطرارِ کیستم
روز و شب از غیرتِ تقصیرِ خود سوزم بہ عشق
عمر شد گریم کہ یا رب شرمسار کیستم
تابہ خود آیم بہ سنگِ راہ اکثر سرزدہ
می کشم فریاد و نالہ دل فگارِ کیستم
در ہزار افسانہ دارم بر زبانِ خوں چکاں
طالبؔ از دردے کہ می نالم ہزارِ کیستم
