تمہارے غم میں آخر دھج بنا ہم نے فقیرانہ
اٹھایا شہر سے بستر، بسایا جاکے ویرانہ
کہا رو رو کے میں نے شب جو اپنے غم کا افسانہ
تجاہل دیکھیے کہتے ہیں تو کس کا ہے دیوانہ
لپٹ جاتا ہے فرطِ شوق سے کیا بے حجابانہ
فناؔ ہم دیکھ کر جلتے ہیں وصلِ شمع و پروانہ
