انساں کبھی ہے صاحبِ دولت کبھی فقیر

بگڑے ہو عبث کیوں بوسۂ روئے مصطفیٰ پر

ساتھ آیا ہے جو عریانئی تن کا جامہ

غرور اچھا نہیں رستمؔ کبھی اس دہرِ فانی کا

کیوں بنا تا ہے عبث زیرِ فلک اونچے مکاں

ना'त-ओ-मनक़बत 1

जो कामिल हो तो ऐसा हो करामत हो तो ऐसी हो
