'sarmad' kār-e-ilāh lutf-o-karam ast
az mā'siyat-o-siyāh-kārī che ġham ast
rakHshidan-e-barq-e-bīñ-o-josh-e-bārāñ
rahmat che fuzūñ ġhazab che bisyār kam ast
Since it’s for God to be kind and merciful.
There shouldn’t be any worrying about sins and evil deeds.
Compare the flash of lightning and the flood of rain,
How great is the mercy, how small His wrath !
