haq jaan-e-jahanast-o-jahan jumla badan
haq jān-e-jahānast-o-jahāñ jumla badan
va asnāf-e-malāyaka havās-e-īñ tan
aflāk-e-’anāsir-o-mavālīd aa'zā
tauhīd hamīn-ast-o-digar-hā hama fan
Truth (the Creator) is the soul of the Universe and the whole Universe (Creation) is the Body in which He dwelleth the array of angels are the senses of this body, the firmaments are its prime elements and created beings its limbs, the Unity existeth eternally-all else is artifice.
