dar mai-kada-e-’ishq-e-azal ism-e-man-ast
rindī-o-parastīdan-e-mai qism-e-man-ast
man jān-e-jahānam andarīñ dair-e-muġhāñ
viiñ sūrat-e-kaun jumlagī jism-e-man-ast
In the tavern of the love of the eternal is my name inscribed, inebriation and worship of wine are my allotted share of fate; I am the soul of the world in this tavern of life and this physical world (we see) is the totality of my physical fame.
