az mardum-e-duniyā ba-ḳhudā giir kanār
tā dil ba-kushad ’arūs-e-rāhat ba-kanār
sar rishta-e-ikHtilāt az dast ba-deh
sarmāya-e-ārām-o-farāġhat ba-kaf aar
Abandon the society of the people and turn to God,
So that your heart may embrace the bride of comfort !
Release the thread of relationship off your hand
And get the wealth of relief and peace.
