az ma’siyatam besh buwad fazl tura
az mā’siyatam besh buvad fazl turā
har lahza ba-ḳhud dāram hama jā
har chand ki sar tā ba-qadam ’isyānam
az bakHshish-e-tū niist fuzūñ jurm-e-marā
Thy mercy is more powerful than my sins,
Every moment I reckon this within myself.
Although I am covered with sins from head to foot,
Yet in the presence of Thy mercy it’s mere nothing.
