az kHvāhish-e-māl-o-jāh zahmat ba-barī
bā-yār ba-sar ba-kun rāhat ba-barī
ġhāfil na-shavī base nadāmat ba-kashī
āgāh agar shavī farāġhat ba-barī
You suffer in the hope of getting wealth and position ;
Pass time with the Beloved and live in peace !
Be not careless, or you will have to regret much ;
If you know all about it you will attain freedom.

ghafil na-shawi base nadamat ba-kashi
aagah agar shawi faraghat ba-bari
You suffer in the hope of getting wealth and position ;
