Profile of Hamid
An inhabitant of Anjar, Kutch of Gujarat, he is credited with four important Masnavis of his time- (1) Qissa-e-Nazneen Pathan, (2) Qissa-e-Barul Alam, (3) Qissa-e-Musafir and (4) Mojza-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool. Along with Gujari, Gujarati of his time is also found in Hamid's masnavis. The conversational use of Gujari and Gujarati is very interesting in his Masnavis.
