har ek saghar se soz-e-mai ayan malum hota hai

taron mein husn-e-gul mein latafat nahin rahi

dil to mera asir hai chheDega kaun saz-e-ishq

jab ishq hadon se baDhta hai kya dard ki raaten hoti hain

tera husn hi jalwa-gar dekhti hai

subh se pahle hi ho jati hai sham-e-zindagi

baDha hai zauq-e-sajda ek kashish si pai jati hai

zamin ke dosh pe Thahre ki arsh par Thahre

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
