ख़ुदा के सिवाय कोई ख़ुदा से मुहब्बत नहीं करता। ख़ुदा के सिवा न कोई आशिक़ है और न कोई महबूब। आशिक़, इस हक़ीक़त को तब समझते हैं, जब वो उस मक़ाम पर पहुँच जाते हैं कि हर मौजूद चीज़ में ख़ुदा को देखने लगें।

तसव्वुफ़, ख़ुदा के गुणों को अपनाने का नाम है।

न तो कोई पर्दा है और न कोई हिजाब। वो ख़ुद अपने जलवे से छिपा हुआ है। कुछ भी ऐसा नहीं है, जिसे न देखा जा सके। जिसे नहीं देखा जा सकता, उस के पीछे ला-इल्मी है।

फ़क़ीर का वजूद दरअस्ल उसी का वजूद है और बीमार का वजूद भी उसी का वजूद है। वही हाकिम भी है और महकूम भी। वही ख़ालिक़ है और वही मख़लूक़ भी। अब ये मान लो कि ये वजूद उसी का वजूद है।
